Sales Rep for STS Logistics

Specialized Transportation Services is seeking a Sales Rep in our Logistics division at our headquarters in Smyrna, TN. This position has the opportunity to interact other departments, and will work daily with STS Logistics Sales Manager to help make quick decisions and resolve problems that may arise with existing and new books of business.

Responsibilities will include:

• Be able to make a sales pitch to people who have freight to ship
• Make prospecting calls-we have assets that will make this call easier
• Negotiate with shippers and carriers
• Provide top notch customer service
• Manage daily shipments

Requirements:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously
• Prior Logistics Sales or basic Transportation Knowledge a must
• Desire to learn – Ability to learn quickly in a self-directed environment
• Team player dependable, responsive and promotes a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration
