Employee Spotlight – Teri S.
First impressions can make or break a relationship. When recruiting drivers to be a part of STS, that first impression must be one that is warm and welcoming. Teri’s energy and love for STS helps drivers understand our book of business and the support they will have from others once employed. Teri is one of the reason’s drivers choose STS over many other companies.
We thought it might be fun to give the drivers a little insight on Teri and what is important to her. She is married to Charles who is a science teacher and a football coach in S. MS. They have four children who are all very successful. Oh, and we cannot forget her best friend Lulu, her laid back and gentle pup.
Teri was born in Mobile, AL but grew up Sumrall, MS, a small town just outside of Hattiesburg, MS. She will tell you that she is all about family. On the weekends she spends most of her time cooking for her family and going to flea markets with her husband. During football season, she helps her husband keep up with his plays and even coming up with some of the hand gestures! You can bet that is something to see on the sidelines.
Teri is a very down to earth person, which is one of the reasons that she settled into the transportation industry. She loves working with drivers because most of them are very hardworking. She has been a part of the Transportation industry since 2007 and says the best part of her job is getting to know others.
Teri is fun, compassionate and loving towards others. She leans heavy on her faith when things get a little shaky, which explains her positive attitude and her genuine concern for those she works with. STS is lucky to have Teri to provide that important first impression of the STS family!
